Gin – This type of gin does not need to be doubled distillation. But this type of gin will be added approved natural flavoring substances in the producing process. This type of gin is still need to have juniper flavor.
Distilled gin – is exclusively double distillation. Distilled gin use ethyl alcohol with 96% ABV to be distilled. Moreover, juniper must be the main flavor for this type of gin. It cannot be called distilled gin if adding juniper essence into the bottle.
London gin – this type is distilled from ethyl alcohol with a maximum of methyl alcohol at 5 gram of 100% ABV. The result of London gin has 70% ABV. There is some addition of sugar into London gin but not over 0.1 gram of sugar per liter of final product. There must be no adding of color, and flavor.
