Caliper readings were available from 21 subjects and showed that MLD reduced caliper creep on the affected side (d = 0.23mm, 95% CI = -0.01 to 0.47, P = 0.06) (Table 4), indicating an almost significant reduction in trunk oedema. Following SLD there was non-significant increase in caliper creep on the affected side. Comparison of post-MLD and post-SLD creep values did not achieve statistical significance (Table 5).
