3.1.2.3. Second generation males. Similar to the first-generation
males, but slightly smaller in the body length, much smaller in
width and other measurements (Table 2). Tail mucron developed
as a medium long filamentous projection (Fig. 5C).
3.1.2.4. First generation females. Body size varies significantly,
rarely longer than 8000 lm, usually C-shaped on heat relaxation.
3.1.2.5. Second generation females. Similar to first generation
females in general morphology, but smaller (Table 3). Stoma
4–6 lm long, 10–12 lm wide. Vulva symmetrical and almost no
to slightly protruding, about 3–5 lm (Fig. 1). Excretory pore position
more anteriorly. Conical and sharply pointed tail, postanal
swelling not developed; tail longer than body width at anus
(Fig. 1E). Ratios a, b and c much smaller. Pygmy forms not
observed.
