about the key-visuals and what they were communicating to them or what they
understood out of them.
• Observing reactions to the key visual frames of the story before telling the children
the story.
• Narrating the story with the key visual frames to the children. One researcher had
developed rapport with children by doing 2–3 practise story telling sessions with
children before narrating the actual story.
