In the morning, join the cooking class at Seasons Restaurant
Arrive at Seasons restaurant, have a welcome coffee and briefing about the mornings activities. Depart for the market (Hang Da) accompanied by the chef. Return to Seasons to begin preparation for lunch. The menu is composed of some typical dishes such as fresh Hue style spring rolls, shrimp paste on sugar cane, fish baked in a clay pot and banana flower salad.
Coffee break. The chef will cook the final dish while you have time to reflect on the mornings activities and quiz the restaurant manager about “life at a Vietnamese restaurant”. At the end of the class you will be given notes on the “Essence of Vietnamese cuisine” and a special recipe.
In the afternoon, take a city tour in Hanoi including the Fine Arts Museum, the Temple of Literature, Sword Lake and a 1 hour panoramic cyclo in the bustling 'Old Quarter', with its 36 corporation streets.
In the evening: enjoy the famous Water Puppets Show followed by dinner at a local restaurant.
