POSITION SUMMARY:
The student intern will be responsible for completing orientation and all training programs offered, completing the Intern Workbook, rotating throughout department as assigned, and completing projects as directed. Interns must report to duty on the day given in the Internship Contract. Interns must plan to depart on the date determined to be the end of the internship agreement and may not take vacations or other family related leaves during the internship unless a medical emergency occurs involving immediate family. Interns must arrive to work in time in the proper uniform, perform duties at the quality level desired by their supervisor in each department, and follow all rules and regulations. Interns may use office equipment to complete assignment; however, permission must be obtained. Interns will meet with the Intern Mentor each Friday at 3 p.m. Meeting with supervisors of specific departments will be scheduled weekly, as well, and evaluations will be given by each supervisor at the end of the rotation through their department. An exit interview will be given during the final week of the internship.
