Abstract
Highly purified samples of propane and n-hexane have been studied. The critical temperature, pressure, and density were determined and compared with the most reliable values reported in literature. The vapour pressure was determined from 333.15 K to the critical temperature for propane and from 483.15 K to the critical temperature for n-hexane. The p(T) values were correlated by equations of the form: log10(pkPa) = A − B(KT).
