In the morning of this day, villagers will make an offering or Tak Bat Te vo, the merit performance for the first day of the rains retreat, and subsequently present foods to monks and novices at temple where by monks will bless the people afterwards. There are other ceremonies on the day after Buddhist Lent, such as row-boat racing, long Hue Fai which is a boat or craft made of banana tree or bamboo lid with candles, Loy Kra Thong.
