After 28 days of incubation, the activity of alkaline phosphomonoesterase was significantly lower in the MC
soils containing 20 and 40 mg Cd kgK1 soil than the respective soil containing 0 and 10 mg Cd kgK1 . Its activity
was also significantly lower in all Cd-contaminated SA soils compared with the uncontaminated SA soil (Fig. 2). The
activity of acid phosphomonoesterase was significantly reduced in the MC soil containing 40 mg Cd kgK1 and in all
Cd-contaminated SA soils, compared with the respective control soils (Fig. 2).
