153 - Global Security and Fire monitors unusual events, tracking the disposition of each report. It is the default activity to investigate reported unusual events. In some instances, they may request assistance from one or more Company functions to assist in an investigation and coordinate efforts of those involved. If appropriate, Global Security ad Fire may designate another function to lead an investigation. Unusual events are analyzed to identify control weaknesses and they will inform the GAO or other appropriate organization of unusual events that may result from a process control weakness. Global Security and Fire provides data to the Unusual Events Committee on a regular basis to report the status of investigations and trends of unusual events, ensuring each member of the Unusual Events Committee is aware of the status for investigations in their area of responsibility. Global Security and Fire also informs the Unusual Events Committee members in a timely manner of significant unusual events between meetings and must notify Corporate Insurance if losses exceed the limits specified in FM 42-10-11.
