The objective of this study was to investigate continuous bioethanol production from concentratedC. forskohliiroot hydrolysate using
yeast cells that were immobilized on wood chips in a bioreactor. The
process was carried out in vertical column reactor with wood chips as
a cell holding material in whichS. cerevisiaecells were immobilized.
The ethanol productivity and ethanol yield were examined to
describe the consumption of sugar and production of ethanol.
