3.2.3 Dynamic adsorption and desorption on DlOl
The dynamic adsorption and desorption results
may be influenced by several factors, such as the feed
rate, flowrate of eluting solvent, temperature, feed pH
value, initial concentration, ratio of column height to
diameter and so on. In this study, the feed rate at
4BV.h-I and the eluting solvent flowrate as 1BV.h-'
were kept unchanged. All the dynamic experiments
were performed at room temperature.
Firstly experiments were carried out in a glass
column wet-packed with the 40g of selected resin to
investigate the ratio of column height to diameter. The
ratio of column height to diameter was 47, 13 and 4,
respectively. The result was shown in Fig.2. Lower
