Mechanical laminators
1Sheeting and laminating is always by machine now. Mechanical laminators are
relatively large machines and there are several different types. Basically the fresh dough
is sheeted into either one or two sheets. When the cracker dust is introduced varies. The
commonest types of laminator produce a single sheet of dough that after reduction to
about 4mm is piled up with cracker dust introduced between the layers. The pile may be
formed by folding the dough or placing cut sheets one over another
