Production of Sodium Chloride
Sodium chloride (NaCl) is also known as table salt or common salt . It is highly abundant in nature.
It can be found dissolved in seawater, closed inland lakes like the Dead Sea and the Great Salt Lake, and in salt wells or brine wells. Sodium chloride also exists in nature in the solid form. They form thick layers in the form of halite, a mineral.
