1. We will test approximately 20 bales per hour at the beginning of the season, reducing to 10 bales per hour in peak season (Manoon to confirm). These test will be split between Suk & Phet receiving bays at approximately 70/30 ratio.
2. The green bale bar-code will be scanned on the receiving conveyor and the system will let us know if this farmer has been tested in the past.
3. If this farmer has already been tested the bale continues without testing, we scan the next bale until we find a farmer that has not been tested.
4. The bale that is selected for moisture testing is marked and removed off the conveyor for moisture sampling.
5. The tobacco sample is removed from the bale and one of the 4 bar-codes is cut off the bale bar-code and placed inside the moisture sample packet.
6. After the tobacco sample result comes out, the bar-code is scanned and the moisture results entered against the farmer.
