Participants were surveyed to measure implementation and
usage of the TTM therapy at their respective institutions. One
hundred subjects completed the pre-training usage survey on
implementation and 98 subjects completed the post-training
usage survey. Of the pre-training usage survey respondents, 43
(43%) of 100 had never administered TTM before, compared
to 0 (0%) of 98 of the post-training usage respondents (P b .01).
In addition, 20 (20%) of 100 of the pre-training respondents
indicated treating at least 1 patient a month with TTM, as
compared to 56 (57%) of 98 of the post-training responses
(P b .01). Responses were not statistically significant when
comparing higher frequencies of usage (Fig. 2).
Post-training usage survey results also revealed that
88 (91%) of 98 subjects felt that their knowledge of TTM
was “very good” or “excellent” and 93 (95%) of 98 of the
subjects felt increased confidence initiating TTM posteducational
intervention. In addition, 84 (86%) of 98
respondents felt like they had become a key resource for
TTM questions in their local environment since participating
in the course and 95 (97%) of 98 of respondents
felt that the educational intervention allowed them to
become an active TTM champion at their respective
institution
