In our experiment, we chose two cyclically varying environments that are characterized by different stressors. Specifically, the stressors we used are salt stress caused by sodium chloride (NaCl) and oxidative stress caused by hydrogen peroxide. NaCl causes hyperosmotic stress to yeast cells.
