The objectives of the present study were to investigate the
combined effects of hot water treatment and UV-C irradiation for
improving quality and controlling anthracnose disease in mango
fruit during storage. The specific activities and the expression of
defense-related genes were examined, including the PAL, POD, CHI,
and GLU genes, during the combined treatments. The quality of
mango fruit ‘Chok-Anan’ in these treatments was also assessed.
