Do you know about a terrace house?
Yes, I was interested in it and I have looked it up before.
Can you tell me what a terrace house is?
In Japan we used to call it Nagaya.
What does it mean?
Simply speaking, it is a condominium which some single houses are attached to each other.
What do you mean that single houses are attached?
It means similar-looking houses stand in a row by sharing walls.
Please imagine. You see sometimes 3 or 4 similar-looking single houses standing together.
Sometimes I see the same type of ready-built houses in residential areas.
Those houses which stand in a row and share wall-bounds are a terrace house.
It is one big building but there are entrances in each house and they are single houses inside.
I got it finally, thank you very much.
But it is like I rent a house, and the rent should be expensive.
Rent depends on areas and anyway it's worth looking for some.
Now I'm interested in a residence style called a terrace house.
Why are you interested in a terrace house?
I heard that it's cheaper than renting a house.
You say it's cheaper to rent a terrace house than a single house, but how much would it be cheaper?
I haven't check out the rental prices.
Have you checked an advantage and disadvantage of a terrace house?
I would like to know if you know any disadvantage of a terrace house.
I've just heard of it and I'm not sure if it's true or not, but the houses share walls with neighbors.
As you share walls, it would be troublesome if your neighbors are noisy.
It's true that I can't stand if two neighbors to the right and left of mine are noisy.
