A total of 48 soil samples (2 treatments_4 replications_3 age categories_2 soil depth layers: 0–10 cm, 10–20 cm) were collected after crop harvest for laboratory analyses. Prior to laboratory analysis, the soil samples were air-dried at room temperature, crashed, and passed through a 2 mm diameter sieve. Undisturbed soil samples were also collected separately using core samplers from each soil depth for the determination of soil bulk density
