To open the electric panel door, with the master switch in OFF position, the operator must :
1 If installed, remove the padlock from the master switch and keep the key in a safe
location;
2 Release the electrical panel quarter turn latches with a large flat screwdriver;
3 Push down the master switch panel door lock and hold it while opening the door
(figure 8).
To close the electric panel door, with the master switch previously turned OFF, the operator
must :
1 Inspect the electric panel for forgotten components or tools;
2 Push down the master switch panel door lock and hold it while closing the door;
3 Set the quarter turn lock latches to lock position;
4 If necessary, padlock the master switch to prevent from turning the master switch to
“ON”. To lock the master switch, pull the master switch lock tab, insert the padlock
in the opening, shut the padlock and keep key in safe location (figure 9).
When the padlock is in place, the master switch cannot be turned “ON”. Also, the master switch
door lock cannot be turned to open the electrical panel door.
WARNING
When maintenance or repairs are required on the machine and the
peripherals, always turn OFF and padlock the master switch to prevent
anyone from starting the machine. DEATH or SERIOUS PERSONNAL
INJURIES may occur.
