Free, free/conjugated, and bound TPC of three rice brans averaged
1.162, 3.532, 3.817 mg GAE/g, respectively, the highest among
grain botanical fractions. The free/conjugated fraction of red rice
had significantly higher TPC than free and bound fractions. Red rice
bran had significantly higher free/conjugated TPC than white and
black rice bran. However, there were no significant differences
among the bound fractions of the genotypes. The contribution to
whole grain TPC of white, red, and black bran were 60%, 86%, and
84%, respectively
