The Association of Southeast Asian Nations, or ASEAN, was established on 8 August 1967 in Bangkok, Thailand, with the signing of the ASEAN Declaration (Bangkok Declaration) by the Founding Fathers of ASEAN. The ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) is the realization of the end goal of economic integration of the ASEAN member countries as espoused in the Vision 2020. This vision is based on a convergence of interests of ASEAN Member Countries to deepen and broaden economic integration through existing and new initiatives with clear timelines. The purpose of the range of changes is to ensure stability and raise living standards across the region.
In summary, I have learned more about cultures and languages of each country in ASEAN and know something new at the exhibition.
In 2015 next year ASEAN Economic Community: single market and production base, a greatly competitive economic region, a region of fair economic development an ASEAN region completely integrated into the global economy. Moreover In 2030 ASEAN could be the fourth largest single market in the world. But there are a number of challenges that its members, individually and collectively, will need to overcome If they are to realize the stellar growth predictions afforded by their relatively strong fundamentals.
