That's luggage, not a baby
Owners of "Childs Angels" may love them, but that doesn't make them real, according to Thai Smile Airways. If you want your doll to sit next to you when you fly, you have to buy a ticket, the airline says. Otherwise, the doll, which is the same size as a real baby, must be put away just like other hand luggage. Some customers are unhappy about this. They take care of their dolls like their own children and dress them up in beautiful clothes. Oh yes, if you do buy a ticket for your doll, be sure to fasten its seatbelt when the plane takes off and lands. Adapted from a story in today's Bangkok Post by Amornrat Mahitthirook.
