B. Preparation of Pi buffer using the Henderson-Hasselbalch equation
1. Calculate the molar proportion of K2HPO4 and KH2PO4 needed to give a
solution of pH 6.5.
2. Using the figure in step 1, weight proper amounts of K2HPO4 and KH2PO4
and make up a 50 ml of 0.15 M phosphate buffer solution. Measure the
pH of this solution.
3. Dilute the solution 10 times and measure the pH once more.
