In the cross-reactivity study, proteins in WB from F. gigantica Met and NEJ, as well as from other trematode and nematode parasites, were loaded (10 g/lane) and separated by 12.5% SDS-PAGE according to the method of Laemmli (1970), and then transferred onto nitrocellulose membranes for immunoblotting (Towbin et al., 1979).
