The Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore provides certification of signatures of Singapore’s Notary Public. Please follow the instructions below:
1. The document owner (not the Notary Public who certified the document) should submit the application in person. If the document owner is unable to do so, the Royal Thai Embassy requires an authorization letter for a person to apply on behalf of the document owner, as well as a photocopy of identity cards of the document owner and the applicant.
2. All documents must be in English, and should be issued in Singapore before being certified by Singapore’s Notary Public. If the document was issued outside of Singapore, it must be firstly certified by the Embassy of its country of origin, and then by the Notary Public, before submitting to the Royal Thai Embassy.
3. The applicant has to fill in the application form before submitting the application to the Royal Thai Embassy. The form can be downloaded here, or obtained at the Consular Section of the Embassy. Please bring the original document and its photocopy for the Embassy’s reference.
4. Submission time: 9.15 – 11.30 hrs, collection time: 14.00 – 15.00 hrs. The Embassy reserves the right to process the document for 2 – 4 working days.
