Acne vulgaris (AV) is a dermatologic major problem especially in adolescence, since this disease is mainly manifest on the face and concerns with esthetical appearance. AV may manifest as transient dermatologic lesion which elapse within several days, but in some patients it becomes chronic. The averageprevalenceofAVis75-85%inadults.1Atthe age of 20 to 30 years, the prevalence of AV in women is 50.9% and 42.5% in men,2 and then decreases with age.
