Turn the ignition key ON by inserting the ignition key and turn it in a clockwise direction.
After this, you should be able to see the motorcycle panel turns on.
2
Set the gear position in neutral.
Before starting the motorcycle engine, check to see if the motorcycle gear indicator from the panel is in neutral position or if zero indicator shows. If the gear indicator is not in neutral position, adjust it through the left pedal. Stepping on the rear part of the left pedal will shift the gear down, while stepping on the front part of the left pedal will shift the gear up. Shift the gear down until the gear is in neutral position or zero indicator shows. In neutral position, the motorcycle can actually be push or pull and can move freely.
3
Starting the motorcycle engine.
Using the electrical starter, you can start the engine. The electrical starter is located near the throttle or the right part of the handlebars. Press it for two to three seconds and this will enable the engine to start. Using the kick starter, you can start the engine. The kick starter is located near the right foot pedal. Kick or push the kick starter in a downward direction and this will enable the engine to start.
4
After the motorcycle engine starts, you can now change gears from the neutral gear to the primary gear.
This is done by stepping on the front part of the left pedal while the throttle is closed (idling as low as possible). The gear indicator in the panel will then change from zero or neutral to first or primary gear.
5
Rotate the throttle to start the motorcycle moving.
Slowly open the throttle located in the right part of the handlebar. Ensure to turn it slowly, especially if you are still learning how to ride. As you turn the throttle slowly, the motorcycle wheel will slowly start to turn forward. Do not fully turn the throttle as a beginner. As the motorcycle moves forward, slowly lift your feet off the ground and control your balance.
6
Turning directions using the handlebar will allow you to shift to desired directions.
As a beginner, you can slow down the motorcycle while doing the turns. You can also use your feet to support your turns. As you make a turn, switch the signal light to desired direction. The signal light is located in the left part of the handlebars.
7
Different gears of the motorcycle have different characteristics.
The neutral gear allows you to manually move your motorcycle wheel freely. While the higher gears (first, second, third, fourth, etc.) allow you to move your motorcycle's wheel as you turn the throttle, these gears have a maximum speed that it can attain as you turn the throttle. To shift the gear up, close the throttle and step on the front part of the left pedal. With respect to the gear you use, the throttle will control the speed of the wheel the engine will produce.
8
To stop or slow the motorcycle while in motion, slowly close the throttle.
Adjust the gear position with respect to the speed. To shift the gear down, close the throttle and step on the rear part of the left pedal. Slowly put your feet on the ground.
9
Turn the ignition key in a counter clockwise direction to turn the motorcycle engine off.
The engine will then stop.
