The whole blueberry juice showed antioxidant activity of
11.14 mM TE/mL and 12,137.53 mL sample/g DPPH (Table 2).
Seeram et al. (2008) analyzed the antioxidant capacity of various
beverages commercialized in the USA by different methods, and
found higher activity (mean of 15 mM TE/mL) in commercial
blueberry juices as compared to the whole blueberry juice
analyzed in the present study, showing one of the highest
activities among the various beverages analyzed in that study.
