In the final application (on inBin) during materials handling operations, the electric board and IPV cell would be mostly oriented vertically with some angular deviations. The same as for the outdoor PV application, angle of incident light and the effective surface of the cell play a key role on the gained energy. The platform should emulate possible angles between light source and IPV cells which would be 0–180◦. To realize this requirements, the measuring board is held by two rotating grips pivoting by a stepper motor. This motor (controlled by operator) enables an accurate angular motion of the board. The motor and grips are mounted on a heavy stand for more stability. The stand is screwed on a wooden tablet clothed with the same covering materials as the testbed interior. All cabling of the measuring board are fastened on the tablet and passed through a hole in it, directed to the bottom of the platform.
