In 2011, the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources reported that (Table ) eight districts of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Kuiburi, Tabsakae, Bang Sapan, Bang Sapan Noi, Pranburi, Muang Prachuab Khiri Khan, Sam Roi Yod, Hua Hin, were experienced with moderate and severe coastal erosion with the distance of 76.19 and 1.93 kilometers, respectively; six districts of Chumporn Province, Tung Ta Ko, Muang chumporn, Lamae, Sawee, and Lang Suan, were faced with moderate coastal erosion with the distance of 31.94 kilometers; seven districts of Surat Thani Province, Kanchanadit, Chai Ya, Don Sak, Tha Chang, Tha Chana, Phoon Phin, and Muang Surat Thani, were also faced with moderate and severe coastal erosion with the distance of 29.85 and 7.72 kilometers, respectively. The Lower Gulf of Thailand
According to the Report on the Strategic on the Management and Prevention and Solving of the Coastal Erosion Problem in 2008 (Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, B.E. 2551b), it was revealed that three districts of Pattani Province, Muang Pattani, Ya Ring, Nong Chik, were experienced with coastal erosion with the distance of 23.5 kilometers; Muang Narathiwat District was also faced with coastal erosion with the distance of 41.2 kilometers. Additionally, the results from Project on the Establishment of the Master Plan for Mitigating Coastal Erosion in the lower Gulf of Thailand from Ta Lum Puk Cape to the estuary of Songkhla lake in 2008 (Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, B.E. 2551b) revealed that two districts of Nakhon Si Thammarat, Pak Panang and Hua Sai, were faced with coastal erosion with total distance of 29.96 kilometers; three districts of Songkhla Province, Ranod, Sing Nakhon, and Sating Phra, were faced with coastal erosion with total distance of 44.5 kilometers.
According to the report on the Situation of Coastal Erosion in Thailand in 2011 (Table ), it was revealed that six districts of Pattani Province, Pa Na Rae, Muang Pattani, Mai Kaen, Ya Ring, Saiburi, and Nong Chik, were experienced with moderate and severe coastal erosion with the distance of 37.67 and 24.27 kilometers, respectively; three districts of Narathiwat Province, Tak Bai, Muang Narathiwat, and Bang Nak, were faced with moderate and severe coastal erosion with the distance of 15.96 and 28.03 kilometers, respectively; six districts of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, Kha Nom, Tha Sa La, Pak Pha Nang, Muang Nakhon Si Thammarat, Si chon, and Hua Sai, were also faced with moderate and severe coastal erosion with the distance of 53.21 and 73.66 kilometers, respectively; six districts of Songkhla Province, Cha Na, The Pha, Muang Songkhla, Ra Noad, Sating Phra, and Sing Nakhon, were also faced with moderate and severe coastal erosion with the distance of 41.09 and 13.43 kilometers, respectively. The Upper Part of Andaman Sea
According to the Report on the Strategic on the Management and Prevention and Solving of the Coastal Erosion Problem in 2008, it was revealed that five districts of Ranong province, Muang Ranong, Suk Sam Ran, Ko Yao Yai, La Aoon, and Ka Por, were experienced with coastal erosion with the distance of 27.5 kilometers; four districts of Phang Nga Province, Kuraburi, Ta Koa Pa, Tai Muang, and Ko Yoa Noi, were faced with coastal erosion with the distance of 27 kilometers; and the coast of Tha Lang District in Phuket is eroded with the distance of 4.5 kilometers. According to the report on the Situation of Coastal Erosion in Thailand in 2011 (Table 1), it revealed that five districts of Ranong Province, Muang Ranong, Suk Sam Ran, Ko Yao Yai, La Aoon, and Ka Por, were experienced with moderate and severe coastal erosion with the distance of 12.16 and 7.63 kilometers, respectively; five districts of Phang Nga Province, Kuraburi, Ta Koa Toong, Ta Koa Pa, Tai Muang, and Muang Phang Nga, were faced with moderate coastal erosion with the distance of 17.16 kilometers, respectively; three districts of Phuket Province, Ka Thoo, Tha Lang, Muang Phuket, were also faced with moderate and severe coastal erosion with the distance of 4.64 and 1.56 kilometers, respectively (Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, B.E. 2554)

According to the report on the Situation of Coastal Erosion in Thailand in 2011 , it revealed that five districts of Krabi Province, Ko Lan Ta, Klong Thom, Nuea Klong, and Ao Luek were experienced with moderate and severe coastal erosion with the distance of 16.55 and 5.08 kilometers, respectively; four districts of Trang Province, Kan Tang, Pa Lian, Si Koa, and Had Sam Ran, were faced with moderate and severe coastal erosion with the distance of 14.86 and 3.94 kilometers, respectively; four districts of Satun Province, Tha Phae, Tha Wung, Muang Satun, and La Ngu, were also faced with moderate and severe coastal erosion with the distance of 9.6 and 6.86 kilometers, respectively (Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, B.E. 2554).
