In 2014, we have achieved zero lost time incident and zero TRCF (Total Recordable Case Frequency Rate) which mean “Nobody get hurt from working for Technip” as every day we get out from home to come to work and then we all go back home safely, to meet our family or lovely kids.
We were re-certified to ISO 14001 : Environmental Management System and continue OHSAS 8001 : Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO 27001 : Information Safety Management System to give confident to client that we have a good system to protect our people, information and environmental.
In 2014 we also have conducted several Pulse sessions to increase leadership on HSE in our organization such as we reach 97% Pulse for office, 48 % Pulse for Engineer and 100% Pulse for Manager but there are still many of our people not been trained Pulse, so in year 2015 we will continue to conduct Pulse sessions such as Pulse for Engineer, Pulse for leadership and Pulse for work force for Project Site.
There are many things to do in 2015 and we will focus on being ready to deliver on ECP Project such as having a Site HSE personal database, Standardize HSE Project Management through the implementation of TET HSE Project Life Cycle, Develop HSE staffs to be multi-skills in HSES for EPC Projects……
Our chairman’s Vision is to become the reference Company on HSE…. The question is ….How to become the reference company on HSE?
Do we become Reference Company on HSE once when we’ve got the certified ISO 14,000 and OHSAS 18001? … No we’ve already got these certificates but we are not there yet.
Do we become Reference Company once we’ve got zero fatality accident record for 10 year or 20 year? … No, at TET we’ve already achieved this record but we are not yet the Reference Company on HSE
So, how do we to become The Reference Company on HSE…?
I believe, we can achieve this target if every single one of us in the Company embraces HSE leadership – be the HSE leader, everyone in TET take accountability on HSE, whatever which department do we work for, or what project or client do we work with. We show our leadership on HSE… and I believe everyone can do this, For example every times we have meeting with client even if one on one meeting, we always start with safety moment… Every times we have appointment with Visitors or Vender here, we brief them how do in case of emergency, where is the nearest fire exit door….
Every Times we found unsafety acts or unsafe conditions in the work place, we intervene them with our leadership on HSE.
I believe only in embracing HSE leadership – being the HSE Leader can we help Technip to move forward to next steps to fulfil our chairman’s vision of becoming The reference company on HSE…
