In the second part of this research

In the second part of this research, addressed to the study of
expression of the THCA synthase gene by reverse-transcriptase RT-
PCR, the RNA of 12 cannabis samples (from CS7 to CE18) was
investigatedusing theRubisco gene and the 26S ribosomalRNAgene
as internal control genes for constant expression. The results did not
show a definite correlation between the chemical concentration of
THC and THCA synthase gene expression, even if the samples with
the highest percentage of THC also showed increased relative
expression; on the other hand, for similar classes of Cannabis
samples, the expression of the THCA synthase have shown a
correlationwiththe analysedpart andwiththematurityoftheplant.
