Chris, 23, heads to Elland Road for an undisclosed fee after two and a half years with the Foxes. He made 62 appearances and scored 20 goals.
Signed from West Bromwich Albion in January 2013, Wood made an impressive start to his City career, scoring twice on his debut in a 6-1 win over Huddersfield Town on New Year’s Day and going on to score nine in his first nine Leicester games.
The New Zealand international made a valuable contribution to City’s record-breaking march to promotion during the 2013/14 season, scoring eight times on his way to securing a Championship winners’ medal.
And having helped the Foxes return to the Premier League for the first time in 10 years, it was Wood’s late, clinically taken goal that secured a vital opening day point against Everton at King Power Stadium last August.
Everyone at Leicester City would like to thank Chris for his contribution to the Club during the last two and a half years and wish him every success in his future career.
