The fresh weight of the top portion (above ground part) of the plants significantly increased by Pentakeep application compared to the control and, was increased as the rate of Pentakeep
increased. Pentakeep application at 0.04 and 0.08% increased root (underground part) fresh weight compared to the control (Table 2 and Fig. 1). Plants treated with 0.04 and 0.08%
accumulated higher percentage of dry weight of the top portion than the other treatments. The dry weight of the root portion increased by Pentakeep application compared to the control. The length of the top portion was increased by Pentakeep application compared to the control and, was increased as the rate of Pentakeep increased (Table 2 and Fig. 1). However, the length of
the root was not affected by Pentakeep application. The crown diameter was larger in plants treated with Pentakeep than the control. Leaf width was increased with Pentakeep application at
0.04 and 0.08% compared to the other treatments. The plants treated with 0.08% Pentakeep showed wider leaves than those treated with 0.04% Pentakeep (Table 2 and Fig. 1). Both leaf and root numbers of plants were not significantly affected by Pentakeep application (Table 2).
