the most recent development plan, corporately produced, has further refined the practices so that there is considerable detail of origins and reasons for the priorities identified (including evaluations of previous developments), clear targets, identified success criteria and evaluation strategies, who specifically is accountable for expenditure, monitoring. and evaluation, and where this fits into the overall school aims and vision. Staff development, training, INSET, management development and succession planning all feature and there is a (loose) relationship with appraisal and appraisal targets.
