For synthesis of silver nanoparticles, 0.1 mg of XG was dissolved in 100 ml ultrapure water under constant stirring for dissolution of XG to achieve 0.1% (w/v) solution and AgNO3 was added in the obtained solutions to get the final concentration of 1 mM, 2 mM and 3 mM. The reaction mixtures were incubated for the time period of 12, 24, 36 and 48 h at 60 °C, 80 °C and 100 °C in dark condition with stirring.
