as percentage), shoot length (SL), number of tillers per pot (NT),
number of spikes per pot (NSP), spike length (SPL), number of
spikelets per spike (NS) and grain yield per pot (GY) were recorded.
Plants were harvested and oven dried at 80 ◦C for 48 h to record
shoot dry weight (SDW).
