As discussed yesterday I doubt very much that the company would invest in another emergency car that spends most of its time parked up and not used, as it would not be cost effective and a waste of monies. Very rarely workers/staff are taken ill at the same time and since I have been here in the last 6 months I can only remember this happening once where the drivers were busy.
In future should this scenario happen again and someone is taken seriously ill an ambulance should be summonsed. Alternatively should you wish to use your own personal car then the company would be more than willing to pay for the fuel (per kilometer). However, should you agree to this please contact your insurance company first to see if your policy/cover includes business use, if the answer is no then ask them for a quotation to upgrade your existing policy for business use, ensuring you pass the details onto me and I will speak with management to see if they can pay for the additional cover.
I look forward to your response (No need to copy Tracy or Personnel in on your response)
