As you become accustomed of a place, then you start to less appreciate things around you.
It is so wonderful meeting friends and new people through couchsurfer that brought me back the isnight and glimpse of Chiang Rai.
How Chiang Rai is great spot for traveler bound to cross to Laos or come to Thailand from Laos.
Endless networking possibilities, a vibrant digital community, a plethora of co-working spaces, and you’ve got the recipe for the perfect “digital city”. Over the past few years, Chiang Rai has exponentially exploded with an influx of people, all looking to bootstrap their online business while enjoying the fruits of living in a very affordable part of the world. The food is amazing and it’s the safest place I’ve ever lived.
I can not thank you enough for the jaw dropping scenery, With the mountains overlooking the city, how could you ever imagine that 20 minutes cycling that you can dip on waterfall, or enjoy the warm bath at the hotspring, or walking peacefully on the woods, the amazing uber friendly local people that burst their smile every time you are passing by, and amazing weather. I started to appreciate small things, to create an inner peace and simple happiness, as how I see Chiang rai from other travelers point of view, as they always said:
" You are lucky to live here".
