Multicultural Men’s Program/Domestic Violence and Anger Management Counselling
The Multicultural Men’s Program at Immigrant Services Calgary provides individual, couple and group counselling for immigrant and refugee men and their family members who have witnessed abusive behaviour in an intimate relationship. The program also provides support for individuals who have been perpetrators within the relationship. The Multicultural Men’s Program individual, couple and group counselling program consists of 12 sessions. This program covers topics including anger management, conflict resolution, boundary issues, cycle of violence, communication issues, stress management, family dynamic and other topics applicable to the program. The objective of the Multicultural Men’s Program is to help participant(s) successfully adapt and integrate to life in Canada while increasing their understanding of social boundaries, human rights and the law. Multicultural Men’s Program General Group
The Multicultural Men's Program at Immigrant Services Calgary provides an opportunity for immigrant and refugee men to meet and work together in a group, individual and couple setting to discuss employment, education system, conflict resolution, communication issues and other topics suggested by participants.
