David Moyes has set his sights on signing Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus in January.
The German international reportedly has a release clause of £29m but Moyes is planning to make a player swap deal with Shinji Kagawa being offered. Klopp has been complaining about the playing position of Kagawa and treatment at ManUtd. BVB had made a bid to re-sign the Japanese midfielder in summer but was rejected by the EPL Champions.
“Marco Reus possesses a release clause option in his current contract at our club. He could leave our club due to that. He is, however, the only player in our first-team squad that has such a contract clause..” – Hans-Joachim Watzke (Dortmund executive)
Moyes is now set to use Kagawa as a bait in order to sign Marco Reus. Marco Reus has been a vital part of BVB since his arrival. Manchester United aren’t the only club having plans to sign Reus – Chelsea and Manchester City are also rumored to be interested in the German.
