Paul talks about his relationship with Timothy. Paul’s life modelled to Timothy what a Christian was. We need to work together, walk together, laugh together, cry together. Show them the abundant life Jesus promise, have fun together.
Application: We might all be nodding our heads in agreement with this, however in most affluent societies, people are materially rich but relationally poor. This translates to very poor discipleship. If we really want to see disciples transformed we’re going to need to give them time . . .
2. So, How to build them up in fellowship & relationships with other?
Introduce them to your friends. Have your friends make an effort to connect to them. Get your friends to include them and invite them out. Have meals together with your friends. Talk & pray with them about real issues in their life. Introduce them to others who have been through similar stuff.
