Although AA-2G has been known to have better stability, the influence of pH and temperature on the AA-2G stability requires more studies. Response surface methodology (RSM) was introduced in this study to evaluate the stability of AA-2G in cosmetic lotion.
The degradation of AA-2G can be analyzed with the use of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).13,14 Usually lots of experiments were required to complete comprehensive studies of stability. However, the optimal condition is sometimes still difficult to be determined. RSM was an effective statistical technique for process optimization. RSM models not only evaluated the influence of temperature a
