Please note due to the weight and shape of this bike and all the included accessories it is COLLECTION ONLY from East London (Ilford IG1).
I am selling my trusty black Brompton folding bike with lots of fantastic extras such as large roll top pannier and original Brompton cover.
It's in great condition overall and rides like a dream, totally smooth, gears change flawlessly. It's been regularly services over the years I've had it and I only recently changed the saddle to a brand new Specialized Body Geometry one. It's very comfortable.
So along with the original Brompton roll top pannier (bike attachment has been installed and it simply and easily clips securely into place) and original Brompton bike cover I am also including a small, but powerful Blackburn hand pump (the original got lost), front cat eye light and rear light, attachments for which are in place on the bike (they are currently out of battery though), a small puncture repair kit and a cross body reflective safety harness.
Basically, you're ready to roll with this complete set up.
I won't be commuting by bike any longer as it's too far to travel and this is the only reason I'm selling.
I want to be as transparent as possible and since this is a used bike there is of course the expected wear and tear and the following niggles:
BIKE
Front breaks are a little stiff, but should be very easily adjusted. You can still use them as they are, just need a stronger grip to pull the break bar on the handle.
The rear mud guard is missing two screws on the top and has worn down as the bike "sits" on it when folded. This is purely cosmetic and has no bearing on its usability at all. It can of course be changed if you want a new cosmetic appearance, but it's not necessary.
PANNIER
This original Brompton front pannier has roll top closure and fits a LOT of things in it, it's very spacious. It's clean and robustly made and in great condition except for the right side pocket which has a tear in it. I've continued using it to store a rolled up rain jacket so it still has its use.
The right hand plastic closure clip's fabric attachment is tearing away slightly from the main fabric of the pannier. This has no bearing on its function and could be re-secured with a few stitches, but not really necessary.
