Coenzyme (Co) Q10 plays a central role in energetic metabolism but even its antioxidant role is now largely accepted. So it is legitimate to think even a food intake for this molecule. In particular, the question of antioxidants represents one of the emergent aspects of nutritional problematic. About quinons, analytical data reported in literature regard only some quinonic structures and a limited number of foods. In this work we reported data regarding determination of contents of CoQ10, CoQ10H2, CoQ9, and CoQ9H2 in some edible oils. Analytical determination was performed with a multi-electrode Coulochem 5100 A electrochemical detector with a Model 5021 conditioning cell and a Model 5021 conditioning cell and a Model 5011 analytical cell all from Environmental Sciences Assoc.
