This article describes the effects of an evidence-based depression intervention on the depressive symptomatology, thinking, and self-esteem in college students. A feasibility study was conducted using pre-test post-test design sampling a total of 12 college students. Participants underwent 4- weeks of psychological treatment using Peden's cognitive behavioral group intervention. The Inventory the Cognitions Inventory, and Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale were administered at two time points: prior to intervention (TI) and 4 weeks later(T2). Pained analysis found participants had significant decreased depressive symptoms and negative thinking, and significantly increased self-esteem from T1 to T1
