potential improvable element of the manufacturing
process. To reduce all the waste as much as possible, it
was determined to introduce a recipe control weighing
system (RCWS) at the beginning of the process. Its aim is
to optimize and check the starting phases of the
manufacturing process: the realization of the felt cloth.
RCWS, in fact, enables the better use of the proper
amount of raw materials by avoiding unnecessary waste.
Moreover, RCWS makes it possible to improve the
traceability of all the information about an order and the
