This paper proposes a new three-phase input, threephase
four-wire output, direct AC/AC high-frequency
link dual bridge matrix converter. In this approach, the
line side converter chops the input utility source voltage
to 50% duty square wave pulses by the proposed PWM
scheme and it is transferred through single-phase high
frequency transformer. By using modified 3D SVPWM
technology, the target three-phase four-wire output in
the load side may be established finally. The advantages
